Parallel Constant Wattage Heating Cable, RDP-J3
Shenzhuan RDP-J3 series parallel constant wattage heating cable is long line resistance, constant wattage, heating cable which can be used where circuit lengths exceed the limitations of parallel resistance heating cables. The constant watt arrangement is typically designed to put out a certain amount of wattage per linear foot of cable. These are generally constructed of two polymer insulated parallel bus wires with a nickel alloy heating element wire wrapped alternatively along the insulated bus wires. Due to the unique parallel arrangement, it preserves systems integrity. This means that if any section of cable should fail, the rest of the heater will continue to operate. Therefore, the heat tracing cable is ideally suited for applications where a particular watt density is required at all times such as freeze protection and many other low temperature process control applications. Moreover, this heating cable is particularly applicable for providing safe, reliable heat tracing for freeze protection, insulation and heat maintenance of pipes, valves, tanks, etc.
